Online availability caret-down

The availability for The Ostrich Inn shown online is live and totally up-to-date. If you can’t find the date you are looking for, please email so we can add you to our waiting list.

What time can I check in & out? caret-down

You can check in from 3pm, however you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier to drop off your luggage and relax in the bar.

Check out is by 11am. We ask that you leave your room by this time, but please enjoy the surroundings all day.

We can’t guarantee an early check-in or late check-out, but stick around and let us know your plans and we will try our best on the day.

Can I bring my dog? caret-down

We love our four legged friends here at The Ostrich. Dogs are allowed in our doggy designated rooms (£20 surcharge applies) and bar. Any assistance dogs are welcome.

Can you accommodate families with children? caret-down

Yes, we can accommodate a cot and an extra bed (both at a small additional cost) in some of our rooms subject to availability.

Food & Drink

Do you have a children’s menu? caret-down

Yes, we offer a children’s menu. In case of any special requirements, please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can you cater for specific allergies? caret-down

Our chefs prepare all food fresh daily, so we ask that you please inform us of any specific dietary or allergen requirements.

At what times do you operate a food service? caret-down

Our food & drink service schedule is as follows:

Bar is open 12pm-11pm

Pasta day | Monday 12pm-2pm & 6pm-8.30pm

Chef’s specials day | Tuesday 12pm-2pm & 6pm-8.30pm

Lunch & dinner menu | Wednesday-Saturday 12pm-2pm & 6pm-8.30pm

Sunday lunch menu | Sunday 12pm-5pm

Covid-19 caret-down

In line with Government guidelines, all guests must wear a face covering while moving around the inn, this includes outside spaces.

Guests may remove their face covering only while seated at a table to eat or drink.

We kindly ask all of our guests to respect these guidelines.


What’s the best way to get to you? caret-down

The Ostrich Inn is located approximately 45 mins from Norwich, with its links by rail and air. We are approximately 35 minutes from Kings Lynn, which has an hourly train direct to London KGX in just over 90 mins.

There are regular taxi’s available, however in order to maximise your time in the area we would recommend a car.

Can I park onsite? caret-down

We have plenty of free onsite parking and also have an electric car charging point.

How do I get to the sea? caret-down

The coast is located just under 10 miles from The Ostrich, you can either drive or why not explore the local area by bicycle!


Does the building have wheelchair access? caret-down

We offer a range of facilities for guests including fully accessible bedrooms, bathrooms and lavatories, accessible entrances, access ramps and designated or assisted car parking.

Can I get in touch about accessibility requests? caret-down

We understand that every customer has different needs and we aim to make our facilities available and accessible to all of our guests equally.

In rare instances where this is not possible, we will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative. We welcome you to get in touch with us to discuss any specific requests.
